When we look at the needs of toddlers, much of what they require is comparable to infants, however they are more capable and independent. Our experienced teachers bridge the gap between encouraging independence and offering assistance but are always available to support toddlers as they discover new objects and new ways of doing things. This is particularly important in the area of self-help skills; one minute your toddler can wash his or her face easily the next minute it’s all too difficult and they will dissolve into floods of tears.
Our teachers know when to step in and help, when to wait, when to observe and when to intervene. Getting the balance correct is a minute by minute judgement call and something which comes with experience. Combined with these needs are a wide range of conflicting emotional feelings which are acknowledged and respected. We pride ourselves on providing specialised individual education and care for your toddler.
